From time to time our services may be impacted by weather conditions that made lead to altering our meeting time or cancelling them all together. If such conditions are forecasted, we will use the following guidelines as communication targets:
Sunday Morning services: By 6:30 am. Pastor will initiate contact with Deacon Chairperson and several members living in the Robertsville area. Each will assess the road conditions and report back to Pastor by 7:00 am. Pastor will make contact for an all call to go out by 7:30 am with the decision (cancelling Sunday School and Church, cancel Sunday School only, notifying members that services will be on normal schedule, etc)
We may elect to shift services to Saturday night if the weather forecast for Sunday morning is available far enough in advance. By 10:00 am. Pastor will initiate contact with Deacon Chairperson and several members living in the Robertsville area. Each will assess the road conditions and report back to Pastor by 11:00 am. Pastor will make contact for an all call to go out by 11:30 am with the decision to move services to 7pm on Saturday evening.
Wednesday Night study/prayer meeting/choir practice: By 3:00 pm, Pastor will initiate contact with Deacon Chairperson and several members living in the Robertsville area as well as a member of the Dora Project if applicable. Each will assess the road conditions and report back to Pastor by 4:00 pm Pastor will make contact for an all call to go out by 5:30 pm with the decision (cancelling meetings, dinner and choir practice)
In any of the above situations, the Pastor may designate a person to represent him in making contact with persons noted above to gather information and then get back to him with the suggested course of action.
We will also post any closings on website
